Delete account

You can delete your HOLD account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is irreversible.

Option 1: in the app (instant)

  1. Open HOLD and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
  3. Confirm the deletion (tap twice). The account and data are deleted immediately.

Option 2: by request (without the app)

Send an email with the subject "Delete account" to support@holdmemory.cc from the email address you use to sign in to HOLD. We will delete the account and all data within 30 days and confirm by email.

Deleting specific data (without deleting the account)

To delete some of your data while keeping the account:

  1. Open a card → menu "⋯" → Delete. This removes the saved link and its AI summary (essence, tags, findings).
  2. Open a folder → delete folder. The folder is removed.
  3. Profile → Share → revoke access. This closes previously granted library sharing.

These deletions happen immediately and irreversibly. Alternatively, email support@holdmemory.cc asking to delete specific data, and we will do it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

Deletion is complete and irreversible: data cannot be restored after deletion. Backups are cleared within a reasonable period (usually up to 30 days).

Subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your HOLD Pro subscription — it is managed by the app store and billing continues until you cancel it. Cancel it separately: Google Play → Subscriptions (Android) or Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (iPhone). After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

What we do NOT store

We never download or store the videos themselves — only thumbnails and the text summary. Originals stay on the source platforms (TikTok/Instagram/YouTube) and are not affected by deleting your HOLD account.
